[VACList] airstream parts from Kansas

I wanted to thank those list members who told us about Ted's "barn-o-parts" in 
Kansas.  I was able to get in touch with Ted and his lovely wife who are Wally 
Byam WBCCI lifetime members for over 42 years now.  How fast time flies when you 
are having fun!

I purchased the entire "barn-o-parts" from Ted and will soon drive out to Kansas 
to see for myself what we will take back to our own "barn" both for our use and 
to sell what we can't use on our own two Airstream units.

So ... at some time in the Fall we expect to know more and I am sure there will 
be some real goodies in that lot from days gone by - lots of vintage stuff.  

Ted wanted his horse barn back but it was full of parts from working on 
Airstreams all these years.  In fact neither Ted nor his wife can recall exactly 
how many Airstreams they've owned since they'd fix one up, use it and someone 
else would then buy it from them and so on.  Ted and his wife are retired now and 
might get back on the road again I'm told but their health away from home would 
be the big concern for them.

I told Ted and his wife that I would post to the group about my recent purchase 
so that others could stop calling him and start emailing me. ;)  And I'll be 
happy to take your requests .. and I'll answer them as soon as I can get the 
parts home and cataloged ... but I won't be able to tell you what we really have 
until this coming Fall.
