you did not read it carefully enough no 110v appliance works in the outlet and yet, a voltmeter plugged into that same outlet reads 112VAC. I do not understand that myself. DC, I would say the ground side was not hooked up??? but, I am NOT an electrician. and that is a major understatement. chas
