[VAC] General Maintenance frequency

Jill, IMHO - the answer to that question is related to the type of roads you expect to travel and
how fast you take them. For example, our cat's bowl of drinking water is on the floor (on a
McDonald's tray) in our Airstream all the time. It's a rare occasion when even a drop of water has
come out of the bowl after a day of towing.

My point? How you make your tow vehicle handle your Airstream will determine how much you invest on
a regular base to keep all systems working properly. It goes without saying that if you horse your
cupboard doors or slam your outside door or rough house your appliances, they'll get back at you.

One other point, I fix everything within a day of knowing it needs fixing or replacing. One of my
relatives (many generation ago) used to say, "A stitch in time saves nine."
