[VAC] Towing with a vintage vehicle

For what it's worth.

If you are considering a vintage tow vehicle [one with a separate frame and
body], I would suggest a station wagon, convertible or hard top convertible
(no center pillar).
These body styles used a reinforced frame which is stiffer and stronger -
and better for a weight distributing hitch. They also have a lower center
of gravity and are a little more stable on the road.
