Its been reported that one Airstream with the lining removed was skinned
with 2024 T aluminum. Its certainly a different color than 5032 and
others and after its aged a few years, intolerant of sharp bends. Its
also been reported that some eras of Airstream used Alclad which
probably polishes better, but costs a whole lot more.
