Yes, different arrangements would be mandatory for a foreign (another
continent, not just Mexico or Canada) caravan, with probably a good auto
mechanic as well as trailer mechanic, and good emergency plans.  None of my
caravan comments apply to this kind of travel.  Even in places like Mexico,
some better planning for breakdowns than was evident in poor Jim Smith's
case would definitely be in order.
