[VAC] Vintage Tow Rigs

Several bits of information:
We tow with a 1963 Suburban Carryall.  It works great, is practically 
bullet proof and carrys all the additional neccessities in the back.  We 
put a crate 350 in it when the original got tired.  It works great, but 
Michael says next engine he's going to more horsepower (never can have 
too much power!)  Michael also fabricated disk brakes for the front and 
rear.  It went good, stopped not so good.  Always make sure you have the 
ability to stop!  These kind of late model changes are wise from a 
safety standpoint.

The Dymaxion is on display at the National Automobile Museum in Reno. 
www.automuseum.org  It's so cool looking.  We saw a program on it at 
last years annual presentation.  It included computer simulations and 
research on the accident that stopped development of the car.  It was 
just fascinating, but someone has too much spare time to do that kind of 
project.
