[VAC] Re: Hologram effect when polishing

You eliminate swirls with COTTON buffing pads - The
wool is what causes swirls using the cyclo. I took
off only heavy oxidation with wool pads, went back
with pre-polish and cotton pads (changing often) and
the surface was smooth as a mirror.

A Drum buffer isn't a magic tool, it has it's own
issues. i.e. lapping - when "coloring" a surface, a
drum buffer needs technique just like any other
polisher. Not only are drum buffers expensive tools,
take a look at the cost of a compressor to run it, as
innefficient as it is, and you are talking a total
price nearing $4000.

I'll stick with the cyclo thanks.
