[VAC] Re: air lift compressor

 This pump seems to put out a fair volume of air, it takes only a few
seconds to run the air lifts from 5 -> 30 PSI, and they require more air
than air shocks. I'll admit to not having tried it on tires, but I think
it'd do in a pinch.

I know what you mean about those chintzy compressors that plug into a
lighter socket. Bought one years ago to pump up an air mattress,
something that takes a lot of volume at very low pressure. IIRC, the
thing siezed up and quit before finishing the job the first time out.
This was in the days of tent camping off the back of the motorcycle, and
I solved the problem by using the compressor for the air horns on the
bike. It was fairly high volume at low pressure and took only a few
minutes to fill an air mattress.
