[VAC] Re: solar solution

Sarah,
You can use any units you wish for your calculations, and it's easy to
convert one to another. Amps X Volts = Watts. Use a watt of power for an
hour and you have a Watt-Hour; a thousand of 'em equals a Kilowatt-Hour
(KWHR). Most folks use the units that are most appropiate at the time,
then convert as necessary.

Conservation goes only so far before you must provide more power. IF
you're happy living as Sherry does (and note that she travels alone,
something that helps on the consumption side), you can get by with less.
If you want more lights or a larger TV, you have to provide the juice to
do the job.

Once you get really into this AE stuff, you'll realize just how cheap
and convenient commercial power really is. :-)
