We have a Class III hitch receiver that is correctly welded to the
frame. I am not sure what you mean by 'platform' hitch receiver... Maybe
you could elaborate or point me to a url?

I will check into the trunion bars and find an antisway device.

I was going to have the trailer completely serviced v/v brakes, lights,
bearings and tires prior to pickup.
