How much power for recharging batteries in the boonies depends on their
size, the loads, and how quick you want to recharge them. But having a
generator with size ten times the battery charger power doesn't
necessarily speed up the charging. It might be better to have a 12 volt
only generator, such as a lawn mower engine belted to a car alternator
with built in regulator.
