Ah, but I have a pump, and still use the Schrader (I'm so glad you let me
know what that was called) valve to pressurize my tanks. I almost always
boondock, have a single small battery, and am SO frugal with my power that I
use my 12v pump as little as possible. I can pressurize my tanks with a 12v
compressor (run off the cigarette lighter in the van) and the water pressure
will stay okay for a couple of days.
