RJ - I don't know when A/S started using Zolotone but my 55 safari had 
it. I think the color was called "tender green" (pea soup green). After
removing the bad spots I can tell you there is not a damm thing tender
about the stuff.  Also a friend of mine has a small 48 A/S & he tells
me that it has Zolotone on the interior.  PS. nice looking "throne"
seat.
