The special tool is expensive but gives you a factory finished head.  
However, you can grind down the shaft left by the olympic rivet with a 
Demel tool or simply a grinding head in a electric hand drill.  You can 
get a fairly decent head but not a factory duplicate.  Depends where the 
rivet is located as to how finicky you want to be. You might check with 
local a/s dealer and take your trailer into them and have them drind them 
down or check with your local airport and find out who repairs skins on 
airplanes as they may have the tool and will do the job for you..
