[A/S] NEWBE
I just purchased a 1966 Ambasador 28 site unseen on ebay.
Everything
looks good with the exception of the rear compartment where the
electrical/plumbing is. I have a few questions for the group.
Was there originally concrete in the rear above the waste tank at
the
base of the toilet? Looks like mine was put in later. There is a
lot
of corrosion back there.
How much effort is invloved in replacing the waste tank? Mine is
broken where the drain pipe is connected to the tank.
What are my chances of getting a key to work the the door lock?
The bottom sheet metal is loose in some places, should I use self-
tapping screws or rivets?
Other than these items, I am real happy with the trailer and can't
wait to polish it up. All the sheet metal is good, original
windows,
orginal hardware, original light fixtures, wood paneled fridge. I
will post pictures once the polish job is complete.
Thanks,
Keith Bailey
