I'd suggest you find a huge parking lot serving a store that is closed on
Sundays. Take your trailer there and practice, a lot. You'll learn that the
trailer tires don't exactly "track" or follow in the same line as your tow
vehicle tires while making turns. So you'll want to learn how wide you need
to make your turns to insure your trailer tires & thus your trailer don't
clip curbs or anything else at the roadside (curbs, sign posts, light poles,
people, etc.). You'll also need to learn how to back up your trailer into a
specified space. With lots of practice you'll get the feel of it. Lots of
practice is the key. Ask one or two friends to go with you while you
practice backing up. Take it slow and listen to what they tell you.
