Re: [A/S] 2006 Safari 25' SS LS

I just purchased a New 2005 25' Safari 2 Weeks ago from a dealer who was
getting out of the RV business. I hooked it up and towed it to a RV site a
mile away and started the punch out. I then towed it 400 miles back to New
Orleans. The problem was not the quality of the trailer but the dealer
prep. In my case I knew that the dealer was selling as is and did none. The
biggest problem I had was a leaking potable water pump. The switch diagharm
had a hole and it was leaking out of the pressure switch. I reparied the
leak with 5 min. expoxy. I called Surflo and they shipped a new pump head
very quickly no questions asked. The tank monintor needs calibration minor
problem. I did replace the 2 thumb screws which hold the rock guard over the
front window up with nice knobs from Harry's Ace. Tires were all at 40 lbs
pressure, I bought a $10.00 airpump from Wal-Mart and pumped them up to the
correct pressure. All of the items listed would of been caught by a dealer
prep. The trailer quality seems great so far. You will need to spend a night
sending in warranty cards, I did that sitting in the trailer.

Good Luck with the New Trailer
