In my discussion with Direct TV re the additional receiver for the trailer,
they asked why my home receivers were not plugged into a phone line. I
explained that a) my builder failed to run a phone line to the area of
either TV, and b)as I have no interest in pay-per-view, I saw no reason for
me to run the phone lines myself (OK, so I'm lazy. Sue me). I asked if this
lack of a phone line caused them any problems or led to any additional
charges on my account. She said no. I do know my monthly bill indicates no
extra charges over & above the agreed amount.
