[A/S] 34' Front Kitchen Flexing
Hi Charlie,
Thank you for the tip on the front plate beef up!!!!!! I printed it out, and
will take it to my Airstream dealer to explore the idea.
It is interesting that I could not keep the belly pan to lower panel trim
pieces in place across the front below the windows just under the battery
compartments. I finally had to drill out the large rivets there and replace
them with small anchor bolts that fixed the problem of the loose trim. I
think there is movement between the skin and the frame in that area on my
trailer. I say this because the cover over the gas tanks rubs on the tongue
and wares away places on the bottom edge of the fiberglass tank cover. The
tank cover is securely fastened to the skin of the trailer, and does not
move on its own. This has never caused any serious problems, but sure adds
to the credence of your statement about needing something beefed up in that
area.
