Ben, Home Depot sells a thin metal clip that is about one inch  long and 1/2 
inch wide.  It has a small hole on one end for securing  to the screen door 
and the clip has an 1/8 inch off-set to hold the  plexiglass.  The metal clips 
were with the other screen door hardware  and were in small pastic bags.  I 
used acrylic Lucite since the  material is more scratch resistant than 
plexiglass.
