Re: [A/S] Digest Number 2893 GPS Devices

We have a Garmin GPS that we put on the dash. I can bring it inside
and program it. It talks to me. Her name is Sarah. ;) At first I was
completely intimidated by it but now I really like it. I don't have to
watch it. It's great for fast highway interchanges where reading signs
and adjusting lanes would sometimes be missed by me. I am told to stay
left then bear right , etc. If I turn prematurely I am told I am off
course. I still have my maps and route on paper but this is great to
get an instant readout of just how far I have to go before the exit. I
have only to hit the button and I am told how many more miles before
the next change. There are a lot of other features but that is what I
like the most about it. And you don't get lost on a dark and lonely
road, you don't have to pull over with the map and light and try to
figure out where you are. I like that security. It will get you back
no matter where you are right away.
