[A/S] New Airstream Question
Greetings!
I believe there have been several people with 'quality control'
issues with their new A/S. We have a 2005 Bambi.... used just a few
times last year. There have been a couple of things we thought we
shouldn't have to repair/fix, but since the dealer is 3+ hrs away we
took take of them.
My question has to do with the vinyl flooring. Today [since it felt
like spring here in Maine] Dave was cleaning the Bambi and vacuumed
inside. He discovered that the flooring was not glued down. It kept
raising a bit as he vacuumed [he was using a powerful shop vac as he
was doing the cars]. Did A/S do this so it would be easy to
replace? or should it actually have been glued? It doesn't appear
to present a problem as the molding around the edges hold the vinyl in place.
We also had the vinyl come off in the bathroom by the 'head'. But
we took care of that with contact cement. Seems to be fine.
