OK,

Let me try to summarize:

1 - What happens with nothing but the power cord connected to the TV?
(I don't think you did this test? Is there any noise at all?)

2 - You did the test with the satellite system connected to the combiner 
box and that connected to the TV, but no over-the-air antenna connected.
(This eliminated the noise when you did the "hand test.")

3 - You did the test with everything connected normally, the satellite 
and over-the-air antenna to the combiner box, and that to the TV.
(The "hand test" had no effect here.)

4 - What happens with the over-the-air antenna connected to the TV directly?
(Do the "hand test.")

How long have you had the noise issue? Did this start after the 
satellite installation, or was it there before with just the 
over-the-air antenna? Or, did it work with the satellite and the 
over-the-air connected normally, and then just start having interference 
troubles later?
