Jim if you have any pictures of your shack I would appreciate seeing
it.  This Airstream may still wind up as a Ham Shack, which is better
than it wasting away in a junk yard.  However Texas DMV checked and
could not find a record of the title so the procedure is for a Bonded
title.  Have to get two appraisals, the Bill of Sale, pencil tracing
of the VIN, Weight certificate and a Surety Bond in the amount of 150%
of the highest appraised value. You keep the bond for three years from
title issue then it can be cancelled and a clear title issued. From
what I can find out the Bond only cost $15.00 per $1000.00 valuation
so shouldn't be much, just have to find a place to get it.
Funny thing is I was in a Insurance Agency office checking on the Bond
and telling the lady the story about trying to get this old Airstream
trailer and come to find out its her husband that has it and she's all
for getting it off the property...........
