"ANY" wheel or wheels place under the rear bumper of any Airstream or 
Argosy trailer, is "NOT" a good idea, unless you like to pay for 
considerable metal damage.

Lifting the back end artificially, especially when it's caused by a 
bump, will cause the quarter panels to wrinkle.

We replace many quarter panels for that reason, as well as remove 
many of those wheels.

Airstream has "skid" plates installed to protect the rear bottom.

DON'T DO IT.
