I had 6 Suburbans before I bought my F-250. I never thought I would want
anything else, now I hope to always have a pick up.
I carry alot of stuff in the bed of my truck, generator, tools, chairs, pink
flamingos <g> you name it. I think of the bed as my basement.
My dogs ride very comfortably on their custom built platform in the back seat
of the truck.
In the event of an accident or a very sudden stop I like knowthing there's a
wall between the dogs and me, preventing us from being covered up by all the
stuff in the bed.
I also like having the bedslide so I can access my stuff without crawling in
the bed, under the cap.
A last benefit for me is I can haul hay for my horses, shavings, feed etc
without having it in the passenger compartment.
The occasional stray dog too.
