Marak,

One rule of thumb which I have seen is you need 110" for a 20' trailer
and an additional 4" of wheelbase for each additional foot of trailer. 
That would mean a 122" wheelbase for a 23' trailer.  Both vehicles would
be short of that rule, but the Range Rover more so.  I have a 127"
wheelbase on the Lincoln and 131" on the Dodge.
