[A/S] Livin' Large in a Bambi

I just came across a post that appeared to ask 'How are you using
your Bambi' ? My full-timer experience began as an experiment and I
was lucky that it was prior the the onset of Hurricane Katrina.
Living on the Mississippi Sound (Gulf of Mexico) was great, but I
began to feel that I would soon be ready for many more beautiful
places, and decided to see them from the comfort of a Bambi.
I 'experimented' for several months living in the Bambi and then the
apartment. I loved the Bambi and since I am alone, I found that it
fit my needs. The day before 'Katrina' blew thru Biloxi/Gulfport I
was in the Bambi on the Biloxi river and simply hooked up and towed
it to South Alabama, where I am glad to say I found a teriffic park
operated by the Escapees' RV Club. I'll stay in the Bambi and stay
in South Ala for a while longer. I am retired, but still help on a
part-time schedule with the school District in Gulfport. It's
rewarding and the people are great but I'm not ready to 'live' back
in such a devestated area. I haven't traveled alot since this is
still a somewhat new experience for me, but I look forward
to 'getting on the road' with the rest of you soon.

I have learned so much about Airstreams from reviewing your 'Posts'.
If you'd like to see the Bambi I have several pics on the web-site.

Happy trails,

Terry Newman
