  I don't know about one that comes from out of state.
  But a friend of mine bought one here in Texas without a title. It had been titled but 
it was lost. She had quite a hassle getting a title but she did get one. Had to file some 
kind of bond against possibility of outstanding lien against it. This was on a '69 model.

  She is in FT Worth & had to go to Arlington for something.
  Anyway it could be such a hassle it would not be worth the trouble. If possible, it 
could take months. It took about 2 or 3 months to get hers straightened out.
