Jon, you must have missed Myth Busters. They proved exactly what you are stating. A open pickup with the tailgate up gets better mileage. What the airstream adds has not been tested. California is steep on those taxes, here in New Orleans low taxes, we just have to rebuild our homes every 20 years. Jim
