[A/S] RE: Parallel connection for two Honda generators

What is the current consensus on the way to go for paralleling two Honda EU
2000 generators?

I recently saw two different parallel adapters in a Camping World flyer (one
a lot more expensive than the other).

As I recall, the original Honda kit was very expensive (and perhaps over
priced).  Some A/S List members made their own. Are these essentialy the
same as the one Honda offers?  Or does the Honda version include some
additional safety features?
