[A/S] PSD 6.0L question

Howdy Y'all

I've been lusting for a Excursion 6.0L for awhile now,
and I've moved a little closer to getting one.  At
first I was looking at the '04 models until I went to
dieselstop.com.

I started reading the posts about the engines, and for
every one post that was at least neutral there were at
least 2 dozen posts that were negative.  Most of the
negative posts were pre '05.

So, I thought I'd post to this list to see what
y'all's experiences are.  I know Jim has an '05, but
I'd really like to get some good input here.  The
dealers are stil asking a high price for their
Excursions, even with the cost of fuel.  It seems that
they are still popular.  So, I'd like to get some sort
of idea of what I am getting into.  I don't have to
have one, I just really want one.  I can always move
over to a Duramax.
