From Al Owens - Spain Caravan Update

Will leave here on Monday and then hope to be on the road for Florida by
Saturday..will have to stop to flush the trailer of antifreeze fill with
water and all those housekeeping chores etc.  Hope all is well there..

As I write this I am far away from my AS.  Am in Spain visiting my daughter
who lives outside of Madrid.  While on a trip North of here I did see a
couple of Campers and one Motor Home.  I would not want to pull my 34'
Excella with the Dodge Ram here.  I see big trucks and buses on the road but
off the main highway would expect to be in great difficulty. 

Questions 1:  While adjusting my Winegard bat wing antenna to improve the
incoming signal something must have come lose as all signals disappeared.  I
was able to move a ladder close to the trailer to visually inspect the leads
coming out of the roof and up to the antenna.  It was not hands on but they
did appear to be all right...Now where do I look to try to find a lose
connection.. 

Question 2:  Am looking for recommendations for a Tampa, Florida area
campground.  I have Hillsborough  State Park on my Palm Pilot and assume
that the reason therefore is someone on the list gave it high marks.  I
looked at the website and did not see any limitations on trailer length.
Expect to be in the Tampa area for about 10 days prior to the Sarasota
Rally.

getting out with some of my posts.  In the meantime I checked the
Hillsborough booking site and they say they are full for the period I am
looking for:
February 10 thru 21st

Looking for other recommendations in the area public or private.
