Charles, I do have to add a little balance here.

I certainly am old and decrepit, not "young and limber".  But I love my 3500 van.  Yes, the rear springs are stiff... but they are about right when the a/s is hitched 
on, they control the a/s, and we ride over the front wheels anyway.  Yes, it is higher than the 2500 and I can look into the eyes of the semi drivers... but lesser 
vehicles do not argue with me.  Yes, it takes two steps up to get in... but there are handholds, and exercise is good for us old farts.  Yet it goes anywhere, and 
can be parked in shopping center spaces and even enclosed garages.

I love it, and wouldn't trade for any other tow vehicle I ever have seen.
