I too have the extra leaf springs in my F-250, as well as the running 
boards, and I don't have a problem getting in or out either.  Of course, it 
is not a 4 X 4.  That would make a difference.

As far as brand of trucks stolen in Houston.  Ford might well be the brand 
of preference for thieves, but then, there are a whole lot more Ford trucks 
on the streets in Houston than other full size brands. <g>
