absolutely, unless you are young and limber... do NOT get the F350 !!!

I had one for about 3 weeks until I traded it in on an Excursion (=SDF250 with a
station wagon body) the F350 is an F250 with an extra leaf spring on the back
and a full 8' bed. oh, the bad thing is that it is another 8" higher off the
ground to get into the cab. !!! I hated the damned thing. I had to have a
pickle bucket to stand on to look into the bed, over the side rail.

was never so glad to get rid of a vehicle in my life. for those who like to put
little three-step ladders on the sides of the truck so as to climb into the
driver's seat, more power to you. one thing is for sure, an 18 wheel driver's
head will not be too much higher off the road than yours is when sitting in the
cockpit . all said and done, DO buy a Ford!! but buy an ignition lock out
system ... most trucks stolen in Houston are Fords. Unless they have a Ravelco
security system installed. I have been buying these for my cars/trucks since
about 1980. http://www.ravelco.com/
