My belief is that things like this can snow ball and other areas will do  the 
same. I agree some folks abuse the free parking sites and actually "camp"  
there. I for one do use the free parking areas when traveling to both save money 
 and time. I do not camp but just use to sleep and always try to purchase 
either  fuel, food etc if it is offered at this site. I think it is a good idea 
myself  to boycott any thing that threatens this privilege.
(There I'm off my soap box!)
