Linda,

We've towed our 1979 31' Airstream (~8,000 lbs wet weight) for the past 
two + years with an Equilizer hitch. We have no complaints. It's 
relatively easy to lash up to and adjust; we've never had a fishtail 
problem; it is well built and durable. Over 20,000 miles of towing 
behind our diesel pickup.

I have not towed with a Hensley so I can't compare and contrast for 
you. I would love to try one out some time.
One big difference is cost: our Equilizer cost a few hundred installed. 
I believe Hensley's are substantially more salty.
