If you use anti-freeze, it's not necessary to blow the lines out. From Experience, if
you go the blowing route, be sure to prop the flush vvalve open in the toilet. It will
hold water if you don't. The only freeze problem I've ever had. I prop mine open now
regardless.

I have an air compressor, but I have never used it to blow out the lines. My
89 Excella has drain valves to drain some of the water out of the lines. I use
the water pump to pump RV anti-freeze through the entire water system. Then I
pour about 2 cups in each drain trap.
