I have a theory about less flexing nearer the wheels, this would put
the hinges of a rear door toward the front... I am waiting to see a
unit with a rear door to check my theory....Sometimes companies fly in
the face of conventional wisdom to take the high ground in design..
like Ma Bell telling the millions of people who had used the adding
machine that the buttom pad was upside down... they claimed that
testing showed people were more facile with the 1-2-3 row on top...
and they did not change their opinion ....
