[A/S] Help with possible purchase...

Hello List Members,

I wrote a while back saying I was looking for a unit
to take to bluegrass festivals.  I was wavering about
buying an Airstream and instead buying something of
lesser quality. (which is everything!).

Anyway, I took your advice and have waited for a used
unit.  I have found one and am driving this weekend to
look at it.

It is advertised as:
"Airstream Camper 30ft a/c, new frig., flooring, good
tires, '71 model good condition"

After researching and calling the owner, I think it is
a 1971 31' Sovereign with a rear bath.

I have heard bad things about the rear baths and it is
my understanding this was the first of the "Beatrice
Years".

Any help would be appreciated.  Is there a check list
available?  What should I look for?  How do I
determine if it leaks?
