RE: [A/S] Mat's new Airstream
It seems to me that the following description would indicate that something
is not fastened (or designed) properly. Caulk cannot be expected to hold an
Airstream together (mechanical fasteners do that). Caulk is designed to
seal joints that DON'T MOVE!
This problem should be taken up with the Airstream factory for a
satisfactory resolution, as the problem is, in my opinion from this thread,
more than a quality control issue. Rather it is a design and engineering
one.
