The original tongue jack intalled by Airstream would be the H&H from 
Barker Mfg. They used the Ball jack and the Super Ball jack. The Super 
jack has a phenolic gear in it to prevent massive distruction. That gear 
is available through a competent RV parts supplier. You can see it at

the second item on the page P/N 45-0210
