The era of the coach will make a difference.  I believe that the 
bunks described by Hunter were more typical of the 1970s era 
coaches.  If the coach happens to be a 1960s era coach, the factory 
offered hammock bunks that were aluminum frames with canvas streched 
over the frame and a thin foam mattress -- the aluminum frame rested 
on aluminum wall brackets and the other edge was supported 
by "aircraft" cables that slipped into fixtures mounted to the 
cieling.  My '64 Overlander International originally was equipped 
with a pair of these hammock bunks over the center twins (in fact I 
slept in one as a child when the coach was new and I was five years 
old) -- I seem to remember the original owners of my coach 
indicating that the hammock bunks were not recommended for use by 
anyone over 90 pounds.
