I made mounts for a set of LED  stop and tail lights years ago that 
mount to my 1970 AS bumper.   Yes, I know that it is not "Stock" but 
the safety out ways anything else.
I kept the original light still in service also.   Now I can change 
lanes or stop and I feel that other drivers will know what I am doing.  
  More is better.
