RE: [A/S] LED Taillights and older style marker lights

I owned a Bourget motorcycle last year, which was sort of my daily driver
before I became disabled.  When I first brought it home it had two 1157 tail
light bulbs.  I changed the system over to LEDs.  The same size housing
produced over a 300% increase in light emission.  A HUGE improvement for a
motorcycle, but also valuable for any vehicle.

A VERY VALUABLE improvement over incandescent lighting is that LEDs lights
are made up over many LEDs.  If one fails or is damaged there are still
multiples to keep working.  Not the case with old lights.  LEDs last
hundreds of times longer, use less electricity, are brighter, and with no
heat.

I am very much in agreement with LEDs being a vast improvement over old
incandescent lighting.  I will be retrofitting my Overlander with LEDs on
the rebuild.  I've also been investigating starting a small scale board
manufacturing outfit to produce LED boards for older Airstreams.
