[A/S] Water leak
Thanks Andy. I wasn't clear in my first post. The valve I switched was
under the back bathroom sink kinda to the right and down in the copper lines
in the cabinet - must have been the pressure relief instead of the check
valve. Actually I had a friend do it that was skinny and could get himself
positioned easier. The leak isn't coming out a hose that I can see. It is
pouring out from under the belly in that back bathroom area. I have a
little rusty hole that I have shined a flashlight up, but can't find
anything. On the hole, no worry about mice problems here, too hot! And I
have 8 cats! <grin> Diane wrote me off list to check the red valves in the
closet which is an easy check so will do that just to make sure I haven't
hit something while cleaning out cabinets.
I have to get this working next week as son's FFA teacher has asked to
borrow it to sleep in during their weekend plant sale at the school. They
won't be showering in the A/S but I do want it to work. Looks like the
water pump has gone south as well when I checked last week. What is the
replacement for a 76 Safari and who has the best prices to order? Do I need
to be a master mechanic to switch it out?? I am mechanical to a point!!!
LOL
Thank you, Pam in Tampa
