Re: [A/S] Aluminum Propane Tanks

Hey Peggy! (and All)

I just couldn't live with only one Airstream so I bit the bullet and
bought a 1986, 32 ft. Excella off of Ebay! And go figure, it was in NY!
I contacted RAD transport who had moved my 67 Safari for me years ago
and they picked it up and dropped it off at the Airstream plant for me.
Should be there today. Needless to say I am very excited about a trailer
I haven't even seen yet and may not see until spring! When I moved out
to Colorado my four adult kids all wanted to start camping with me. I
took one daughter and her husband in Pearl (21 ft.!) and it was way too
crowded so I figured a bigger trailer would allow any or all to travel
along!

It's a small world! Rob Baker lives a few miles from the guy I bought it
from so he knows the trailer and could assure me that the seller was a
stand up guy. Colin Hyde also knows the trailer. I bought this one because
it has the same rear layout as Hunter's trailer which I always admired.
The queen bed is on one side of the rear and across is a high dresser and
a low vanity with a lamp in the corner. The bath is midway and across from
the bath is a three door cedar closet! I could seriously take off one day
and never go home!

I'm having a few things done to the Excella at the plant but also need to
replace the curtains and possibly redo the couch and dinette. Have any of
you used Fowler or that guy who does the curtains??? Any experience with
someone out west that does that kind of work?

Good thing I bought the 2500 HD diesel Silverado before I left NY! Gonna
put it to good use now!

Patti (loving living west!)
