Thanks for the suggestions folks.

I have been able to track down a rebuild from a Jabsco service 
center.  Cost is roughly $45 so I plan to repair it.  Access is 
surprsingly good, located under the floor of the hall closet and next 
to the wheel well.  Should be able to leave the pump base bolted to 
the floor and water lines connected while making repairs.

BTW, replacement price for a new identical pump is $310.  I did 
consider getting a high end Sureflo model for $80, but installation 
would require some plumbing modifications so the rebuild looks like a 
cheaper and easier way to go.

I might post an update next week for anyone who has the same pump and 
wants to know what they have to look forward to in the future.
